NEED A DOOR OR WINDOW CHANGED AT YOUR SCHOOL?
At Glass and General we are fully aware that replacing a door or window can be an expensive solution therefore we also operate a window and door maintenance scheme, by this we are able to repair doors, and re-glaze windows. This is a cheaper solution to your problem also it is a quicker and easier route to take if there is only minor repairs to be made, examples of previous repairs that we have fulfilled are things such as panic bars that have been broken have been replaced, key locks have been replaced for the easier solution of thumb turn locks, a smashed window will be taken out as soon as possible and re boarded till the new unit is made and delivered from our branch in Dagenham.
Glass and General are specialists in school work, over the years we have completed work for many different schools all over Essex. Ranging from re glazing broken window units, up to a complete rip out and re fit of window or door frame, all of the work that we carry out is completed to a very high standard carried out by experienced fitters and contractors. The work will be completed to a high standard what ever we do. We take pride in all of the work that we complete and like to see a perfect final piece.
After completing work in schools we seem to impress with what we do managing to get continues phases of refurbishments with the same schools later on in the years.
All of the work and repairs to windows and doors take place in our well situated factory in Dagenham, from here we have easy access to the A13, A12 and many other routes making a deliveries quick and easy, therefore if you was to have an emergency breakage, the chances are we will be able to change and replace the breakage the same day. If not change then board up so that property is secure till the next day.
Glass and General offer a thermal panel in the frames which we fit these consist of two aluminum panels which are stuck either side of a sheet of insulated polystyrene. These can be powder coated to any RAL color; this means that they can match the existing color scheme of the school already used.
